SEO Specialist

THE VA GROUP is seeking a well-rounded SEO specialist skilled in keyword research, including search intent and long-tail strategy. The ideal candidate can develop content strategies aligned with targeted keywords and collaborate with writers or create SEO-optimized content outlines. Strong technical and on-page SEO expertise is required — including metadata, internal linking, and site performance. Familiarity with tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz is a must. This role bridges strategy and execution, covering research, planning, optimization, and performance tracking.

This role requires someone experienced, detail-oriented, and proactive — someone who can jump into our existing systems and processes and keep things moving forward.

Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain SEO citations (monthly updates & new entries)
Assist in onboarding new SEO clients following our streamlined process
Conduct backlink outreach and other key SEO tasks
Support admin work, compile data, run reports
Dive into research projects as needed
Help assign and track tasks using TEAMWORK (our proprietary project management system)

What We’re Looking For:

Solid experience with SEO (especially citation management & backlinking)
Comfortable with tools like Google Sheets, SEO tools, and project management platforms
Strong organizational skills & attention to detail
Able to follow structured processes but also contribute ideas for efficiency
Team player who communicates clearly and meets deadlines

RATE : $8 USD per hour, US Timezone
