We are a fast-growing junk removal company in Texas looking for a highly skilled WordPress developer with advanced SEO expertise to complete a critical project — migrating our current website from Duda to WordPress while improving SEO performance.
This is not just a design project — we need someone who can rebuild the site to preserve and enhance rankings, recreate and improve keyword targeting, internal linking, site structure, and schema, and make the site faster and more conversion-focused.
If you complete this migration with excellent results, this position will become a long-term role focused on continuous SEO growth, building city/service pages, and maintaining top rankings in multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan & execute full Duda ? WordPress migration with zero ranking loss
• Rebuild & optimize keyword targeting for all service & city pages
• Improve internal linking and site navigation for SEO
• Maintain or improve structured data (LocalBusiness, Service, FAQ schema)
• Optimize meta titles, descriptions, and headings across all pages
• Ensure site speed & Core Web Vitals meet or exceed current performance
• Set up tracking for calls, form leads, and SEO performance
• Prepare a post-launch SEO report showing improvements and results
Qualifications:
• 5+ years WordPress development experience (custom themes, Elementor, Gutenberg)
• Proven local SEO experience with ranking improvements in competitive markets
• Strong technical SEO knowledge (schema, redirects, sitemaps, site speed)
• Proficient with SEO tools: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console
• Excellent communication skills in English
Tools We Use:
WordPress, Elementor, WP Rocket, ACF, CallRail, Ahrefs, SEMrush, GA4, GTmetrix, PageSpeed Insights
Salary & Benefits:
• $15–$20 USD/hour (Full-time, 160 hrs/month ? $2,400–$3,200/month)
• Pay based on skills, portfolio, and proven results
• If migration and optimization are done to a high standard, role continues long-term
• Performance bonuses for ranking and lead generation milestones
• Flexible work hours — focus on results, not clock-watching
