Title: Web Designer/Developer and SEO Team for Real Estate Platform (WordPress + Technical and On-Page SEO + Analytics)
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a Web Designer/Developer (or small team/agency) who can take our existing WordPress site to the next level.
You’ll collaborate closely with our in-house SEO specialist and marketing team to ensure the site is technically sound, visually compelling, conversion-focused, and optimized for search engines.
We’re not looking for “yes” people — we value collaborators who care about their craft and aren’t afraid to share better approaches when they see them.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Website Audit & Optimization Recommendations
-Conduct a comprehensive audit of our existing WordPress site covering:
-Performance and load speed
-Responsive/mobile-first design
-Technical SEO (site structure, schema, crawlability, speed)
-UX/UI experience and conversion flow
-Analytics & tracking setup — verify GA4, GTM, Google Ads conversion tracking, CallRail, Hotjar, and other integrations are fully functional
-Deliver a detailed report with prioritized recommendations for optimization.
-Collaborate with us to ensure the strategy is aligned so that website, SEO, and PPC efforts work in harmony before implementation begins.
-Website Optimization Implementation
-Implement approved recommendations, including:
-Speed and performance improvements
-Enhancements to responsive design and mobile-first UX
-Adding/editing pages to support campaigns and improve navigation
-Conversion-focused design refinements (forms, CTAs, layouts)
-Dynamic Personalization (High Priority) — bring personalization to the forefront by implementing:
-Location-based content (e.g., Tustin vs. Irvine).
-Intent-based messaging (downsizing, upsizing, retiring, first-time sellers).
-Visitor journey personalization (new vs. returning visitors).
-SEO Collaboration
-Work on technical SEO fixes.
-Partner with our in-house SEO specialist for on-page SEO improvements (titles, meta, headings, internal linking, content placement).
-Provide input on content strategy — bring expertise, not just execution.
Documentation
-Provide clear documentation so our internal team can manage updates confidently.
Qualifications:
-Proven experience building and optimizing WordPress websites.
-Strong background in dynamic + responsive web design and UX/UI principles.
-Solid knowledge of technical and on-page SEO, ideally in collaboration with SEO specialists.
-Proficiency with GA4, GTM, Google Ads tracking, CallRail, Hotjar, and related analytics tools.
-Portfolio of conversion-focused websites (real estate or local services a plus).
-Collaborative mindset — willing to contribute ideas, challenge assumptions, and share expertise.
Deliverables
-Comprehensive website audit report with prioritized recommendations (including analytics & tracking validation).
-Optimization strategy approval process to align website, SEO, and PPC.
-Implementation of approved technical SEO and on-page SEO improvements.
-Dynamic personalization features fully integrated into WordPress.
-Fully functional optimized site with tracking + analytics setup.
