SEO/GBP Assistant 

Full-Time | 40 hours per week | 8 hours per day | 9–5 UK time 

The Client recently relaunched our Local SEO service and are seeing strong growth. We need someone who can take ownership of client accounts, deliver consistent SEO results, and provide an excellent client experience.

Who will you be working with?
You’ll report directly to our Director of SEO Services, who will provide daily support and training.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managing a portfolio of ~35 clients (after full ramp-up), completing around 6 recurring tasks per client per month
• Website/blog content planning, keyword research, and creation
• Google Business Profile (GBP) optimisation and updates
• Creating and scheduling GBP posts
• Replying to Google reviews on behalf of clients
• Monitoring/responding to client communications promptly and professionally
• Recording and delivering quarterly Loom video reviews for client accounts
• Onboarding new clients and developing keyword/competitor research strategies (after probation period)
• Proactively suggesting improvements to drive better client results

A Typical Day Might Look Like

• Catching up on client & team communications
• Reviewing your workload in ClickUp
• Attending a daily check-in with the Director of SEO Services
• Creating/publishing website or blog content for several clients
• Scheduling GBP posts and optimising profiles
• Responding to Google reviews and client requests
• Recording updates and maintaining accurate task progress
• Sharing a quick daily summary report

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1–2+ years’ experience in SEO or client-facing roles (ideally agency experience)
• Familiarity with keyword & competitor research tools
• Understanding of Local SEO strategy and GBP optimisation
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
• Highly responsive and reliable
• Strong organisational skills; able to manage multiple clients simultaneously
• Basic understanding of SEO and Google rankings (training provided)
• Comfortable with ClickUp, Google Business Profiles, and AI tools

Non-Negotiables – Don’t apply if you don’t have these:

• Strong communication skills – able to give client-facing updates clearly and professionally (preferably with a writing background)
  Responsiveness – quick and reliable in replying to clients and the internal team
• Agency experience – ideally has worked in an agency environment, managing multiple clients at once
• Capacity to handle volume – comfortable managing a high number of client accounts without dropping quality
• Work schedule compliance – must work 9–5 UK time and follow the UK holiday calendar, with the exceptions noted (Holy Week, some flexibility around Christmas/New Year)

Onboarding & Training

• 1 full week of onboarding and documentation to learn our processes and tools
• Accounts will be assigned gradually until you reach full capacity
• Continuous training and development opportunities to sharpen your SEO and client management skills

Long Term

• You’ll play a big role in scaling our SEO service and improving workflows
• Future opportunities to develop advanced strategies and mentor junior team members
• Career progression into senior SEO or specialist roles

JOB OFFER: 

• $1,056 monthly (Evaluation Period)
