SEO Specialist

Salary: $750- $1,000 CAD per month (depending on experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Remote SEO Specialist to join our growing team at Sequence Commerce. This role focuses primarily on optimizing Amazon product listings while supporting broader eCommerce SEO initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Amazon’s search algorithm, keyword optimization, and eCommerce SEO best practices.

Key Responsibilities

– Amazon SEO (Primary Focus)
– Conduct comprehensive keyword research for Amazon product listings using tools like Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or similar platforms
– Optimize product titles, bullet points, descriptions, and backend search terms for maximum visibility
– Analyze competitor listings and identify opportunities for improvement
– Monitor and improve product ranking positions for target keywords
– Implement A+ Content strategies to enhance product pages
– Track and report on key performance metrics including impressions, clicks, and conversion rates
– Stay updated on Amazon’s algorithm changes and policy updates

eCommerce SEO Support
– Assist with SEO optimization for company websites and online stores
– Perform technical SEO audits and provide recommendations
– Support content creation and optimization for blog posts and landing pages
– Conduct competitor analysis and market research
– Assist with link building strategies and outreach campaigns
– Monitor website performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO tools

Reporting & Analysis
– Create detailed monthly reports on SEO performance and KPIs
– Provide actionable insights and recommendations for improvement
– Track ROI and present findings to management
– Collaborate with marketing team on integrated campaigns

Required Qualifications
– 2+ years of experience in SEO, with specific Amazon SEO experience preferred
– Strong understanding of Amazon’s A9 algorithm and ranking factors
– Proficiency with Amazon SEO tools (Helium 10, Jungle Scout, MerchantWords, etc.)
– Experience with Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO analytics tools
– Excellent keyword research and analysis skills
– Strong written English communication skills
– Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Technical Requirements
– Reliable internet connection and home office setup
– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
– Experience with Amazon and other eCommerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.) is a plus
– Graphic Design Experience (preferred)
