A highly organized SEO Virtual Assistant who can handle both technical SEO tasks and content implementation for our growing website.

This role is hands-on and execution-focused — perfect for someone who loves implementing SEO strategies, optimizing content, and seeing measurable results.

Core Responsibilities

Technical SEO

Fix meta titles, descriptions, and duplicate content issues.

Update sitemap, noindex tags, and canonical links.

Optimize and compress images; add accurate alt text.

Ensure correct H1, schema (FAQ, HowTo, Article), and page structure.

Coordinate with web developer for redirects or technical fixes.

On-Page Optimization

Use Surfer SEO to boost optimization scores (target 80+).

Implement internal linking between service, city, and state pages.

Add AEO-optimized content blocks (FAQs, “People Also Ask” sections).

Monitor and prevent keyword cannibalization and duplicate headings.

Blog Writing & Posting

Write or edit SEO blogs (1,000–1,500 words) using Surfer SEO Content Editor.

Research short-term rental laws, licensing, and market updates.

Format, upload, and publish posts in WordPress or Webflow.

Add meta title, description, and schema before publishing.

Tools You’ll Use

Surfer SEO (required)

Google Sheets (task tracking)

ChatGPT / Gemini (for drafting FAQs and outlines)

SE Ranking / Screaming Frog (audit checks)

WordPress or Webflow (publishing)

Skills & Experience Required

2+ years of SEO or content implementation experience

Proven use of Surfer SEO (attach sample with score)

Strong grasp of on-page SEO (titles, H1s, schema, alt text)

Basic HTML familiarity (meta tags, structured data)

Excellent written English — clean, factual, optimized content

Ability to follow SOPs and provide weekly progress updates

Bonus: Experience with real estate, Airbnb, or short-term rental topics
