Local SEO Specialist (Google Maps/GBP)

Compensation: Up to $1,200/month + Performance Bonuses

Role: Full-Time, Remote (South America, Philippines, Egypt preferred)

The Goal

We help construction and home service companies rank at the top of Google Maps. We already have proven systems and SOPs in place — we’re looking for a strong SEO Specialist to execute, optimize listings, and help drive consistent ranking improvements.

Your Core Responsibilities

• Google Business Profile Optimization
  • Optimize and maintain GBP listings (categories, services, descriptions, photos, posts, etc.)
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency across all listings
• Local SEO Execution
  • Build and manage citations
  • Support location/service-area pages and on-page local SEO
  • Assist with review strategy execution and optimization
• Ranking & Issue Resolution
  • Monitor Map Pack rankings and performance
  • Troubleshoot ranking drops, suspensions, or verification issues
  • Follow SOPs to resolve issues quickly and correctly
• Process Improvement & Feedback
  • Follow existing SOPs closely
  • Suggest improvements when something can be done better or faster
  • Help keep internal tracking and documentation clean and organized

What You Need to Have

• Strong Local SEO Knowledge
  • Hands-on experience with Google Business Profiles
  • Clear understanding of what impacts Map Pack rankings
• Execution-Focused Mindset
  • You are detail-oriented and consistent
  • You follow systems well and take ownership of your work
• Problem-Solving Skills
  • You don’t panic when rankings drop — you investigate and act
  • You know how to identify issues and escalate properly if needed
• Organization
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, task boards, and SOPs
  • Able to manage multiple listings without things slipping through the cracks
