About The Job The SEO Specialist is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) across key functional areas, which may include Technical SEO, onsite SEO, offsite SEO, Content, and/or Social Media.

This role involves optimizing websites to boost reach, visibility, and lead performance via Owned Media channels, such as the website and social media platforms. The specialist will manage relationships with internal stakeholders, multiple agency contacts, and external strategic partners to achieve these goals.

As an SEO Specialist, You Will…

• Drive organic growth on all Rentokil Terminix websites.
• Positively impact revenue with SEO strategies.
• Support the broader digital marketing strategy with on-site and off-site optimization efforts.
• Leads a team of marketing specialists to support strategies and achieve growth goals.
• Conducting keyword research and analysis to identify new opportunities and refine existing strategies.
• Creating and implementing on-page optimization strategies, including meta tags, headers, and content optimization.
• Managing and optimizing website content to improve search engine visibility and user experience.
• Developing and executing link-building campaigns to improve domain authority and search engine rankings.
• Monitoring and analyzing website performance using SEO tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and changes in search engine algorithms.
• Collaborating with content creators, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all aspects of the website.
• Conducting regular site audits to identify technical issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Implementing technical SEO strategies, such as optimizing site structure and navigation, improving site speed, and implementing schema markup.
• Developing and executing off-site SEO strategies, such as outreach and link acquisition, to improve website authority and rankings.
• Developing and executing social media strategies to drive traffic and improve brand awareness.

As an SEO Specialist, You Need…

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• 3+ years of marketing experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A strong understanding of SEO best practices and industry trends, as well as a solid knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
• Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, and others.
• A proven track record of improving website visibility, search rankings, and organic traffic.
• Experience in developing and executing successful on-page and off-page SEO strategies, including link building, content optimization, and technical SEO.
• Familiarity with website development and design principles, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with social media marketing, including strategies for driving traffic and engagement through platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
