Local SEO Specialist for Marketing Agency

About the Role

We’re hiring an Local GMB SEO Specialist to manage Google Business Profile optimization and local SEO for 4 home service companies. You’ll use AI tools (Claude AI, AI Image editing) to create content 10x faster than traditional methods, delivering results efficiently while working remotely.

Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours/week

Salary: $600-1000/month USD (based on experience)

What You’ll Do

Google Business Profile Management

• Optimize 4 client GBP profiles to 100% completion
• Upload and manage 50-100 photos per client (mix of client + AI-generated images)
• Create weekly Google Posts using AI
• Manage Q&A sections with strategic questions and answers
• Add products and services and link to website
• Manage Q&A sections with strategic questions and answers
• Track GBP insights: profile views, direction requests, phone calls, website clicks

AI-Powered Content Creation

• Write blog posts (600-1,300 words) using Claude AI
• Create service pages (1,200-1,500 words) in 10-15 minutes
• Develop location-specific pages
• Develop service-specific pages
• Generate optimized meta descriptions and title tags
• Write seasonal content and emergency service content

Citation Building & NAP Consistency

• Order 50-60 quality citations per client
• Ensure 100% NAP (Name, Address, Phone) consistency across all platforms
• Monitor and fix duplicate listings
• Track all citations in organized spreadsheets
• Update BBB, Chamber of Commerce, and industry directories

Technical SEO & Website Optimization

• Implement LocalBusiness and Service schema markup
• Add internal linking structure
• Optimize pages for mobile and site speed
• Ensure H1/H2 tags are properly structured
• Create FAQ sections using schema
• Monitor Core Web Vitals

Reporting

• Daily Slack updates on completed tasks
• Weekly metrics: rankings, reviews, GBP insights, citation progress
• Monthly comprehensive reports with ROI analysis

Requirements

Must-Have:

• 2+ years SEO experience (local SEO/GBP preferred)
• Experience managing multiple clients simultaneously
• Strong understanding of Google ranking factors and 3-Pack optimization
• Citation building experience with NAP consistency knowledge
• Understanding of schema markup (LocalBusiness, Service, FAQ)
• Excellent written English (writing client-facing content)
• Basic wordpress editing knowledge
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented (NAP errors can ruin rankings)
• Reliable internet (25+ Mbps) and computer (8GB+ RAM)
• Familiarity with Claude AI, ChatGPT, or AI tools

Nice to Have:

• Home services/local business industry experience
• WordPress knowledge
• Knowledge of US market and local business practices
