SEO and Digital PR Outreach Specialist

Role Overview

We’re seeking a Digital PR Outreach Specialist to enhance our website authority through high-quality backlinks. You’ll create compelling content for external sites, build relationships with publishers, and execute effective outreach campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic backlink acquisition campaigns
• Write and publish PR content with backlinks on external websites
• Conduct targeted outreach to secure guest posts and link exchanges
• Research and engage with high-authority websites
• Monitor backlink profile and actively manage performance
• Build relationships with webmasters and journalists
• Track and report on backlink and SEO performance

Performance Expectations

• Outreach: 150 pitches, monthly
• Published content: 70-100 published articles with backlinks, quarterly
• Media engagement: 3 non-article formats (podcasts, telecast interviews), quarterly

The role will include a 3 month trial period to evaluate the candidate’s ability to meet performance targets and handle the dynamic nature of PR and backlink work.

Requirements

• 3+ years of SEO experience with proven link-building success
• Strong writing and PR skills
• Strong research and analytical skills to identify link-building opportunities, and report on outcomes
• Proficiency with backlink analysis tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz)
• Proven experience with email outreach and relationship building
• Familiarity with PR outreach platforms like Featured, Sourcebottle, Qwoted, and Matchmaker.fm
• Understanding of ethical link-building practices
• Ability to explain complex AI concepts in engaging content
• Self-motivated with excellent time management skills. The successful candidate will enjoy a fast-paced, hustle-oriented role, managing multiple conversations and opportunities simultaneously
