SEO & GMB (Google My Business) Expert (Construction & Remodeling)

Our client operates in the construction and home services space, supporting multiple local service brands across the U.S. Their focus is on driving high-intent local traffic through strong digital visibility, optimized Google presence, and conversion-focused websites. As the business continues to scale, they’re looking for a skilled GMB Specialist to own and improve their local SEO performance across multiple service lines.

📋What You’ll Do

As a Google My Business (GMB) Specialist, you’ll be responsible for improving local visibility, rankings, and engagement across multiple service-based businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ GMB & Local SEO Management

• Optimize and manage multiple Google Business Profile listings
• Publish regular GMB posts while maintaining consistent branding
• Respond to updates, changes, and optimization opportunities

✅ Keyword Research & Performance Tracking

• Research and implement local keywords to improve map pack rankings
• Track local search performance and report insights and recommendations
• Monitor engagement, visibility, and ranking improvements

✅ Citation & Listing Management

• Manage and audit citations and local listings for accuracy and consistency
• Ensure NAP consistency across all platforms

✅ Website & SEO Support

• Assist in building and optimizing new websites for:
• Construction & Remodeling
• Garage Door Services
• Roofing Services
• Kitchen & Bath Services
• Create SEO-optimized content for service pages
• Perform on-page and basic technical SEO improvements

Skills and Qualifications

✔ Proven experience managing Google My Business / Google Business Profiles

✔ Strong understanding of local SEO, keyword research, and citations

✔ Experience with on-page SEO and basic technical SEO

✔ Familiarity with WordPress or similar website builders

✔ Strong written communication skills

✔ Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines

⭐ Nice-to-Haves (Preferred)

• Experience working with US-based, multi-location businesses
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console
• Experience using SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, BrightLocal
• Background in local service SEO (construction, home improvement, remodeling)
