Job Description: 

We’re looking for a Local SEO Specialist to join our global remote team. This role focuses on enhancing our website’s visibility and performance through effective SEO strategies. Responsibilities include executing SEO tactics, building backlinks, implementing Google tags, and setting up analytics.
Responsibilities: 

• Local Keyword Research: Identify the most relevant local keywords for each of our property locations.
• Google My Business Management: Optimize and manage our Google My Business listings for each location.
• Local Citations: Build and manage local citations to improve local search engine rankings.
• Online Reviews: Monitor and respond to online reviews on platforms like Google and Yelp.
• Location-Specific Content: Identify and request location-specific content for each of our property locations.
• Schema Markup: Implement Local Business Schema markup to enhance search engine understanding of our business.
• Competitor Analysis: Monitor local competitors and their SEO activities.
• Local SEO Audits: Regularly conduct local SEO audits to identify areas of improvement.
• Will be operating under a manager’s direct supervision and is expected to excel in following directions and providing regular, detailed reports on performance metrics and strategic outcomes.

Requirements: 

• Relevant education or training in SEO with demonstrable real-world experience and success in boosting rankings. The candidate should have a track record of improving local search rankings and online visibility for businesses with multiple locations.
• Familiarity with Semrush, Google Analytics, Local Viking/Falcon, Yoast SEO and other SEO tools.
• Mastery of keyword research and knowledge in entity SEO is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills, proactive and results-oriented.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• The ability to work in the US Eastern time zone.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Basic HTML and CMS knowledge.
• Google Analytics certification.
