Role Overview
We are looking for an SEO Specialist (Content Writing & Backlinking) to join our growing digital marketing team. This role focuses on executing effective off-page SEO strategies while also supporting content creation efforts that align with search engine optimization best practices.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in link-building and content writing, with a strong understanding of how high-quality content and authoritative backlinks work together to improve search rankings. This position is well-suited for someone who thrives in a structured, process-driven environment and is eager to continuously enhance their SEO expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute backlinking strategies, including outreach, link placement, and performance tracking
- Identify and evaluate relevant backlink opportunities aligned with client industries and SEO goals
- Conduct basic competitor research to support link-building efforts
- Ensure all links are properly placed, indexed, and compliant with SEO best practices
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date backlink records, trackers, and reports
- Create and optimize SEO-friendly content such as blog articles, guest posts, and outreach emails
- Apply keyword usage, proper formatting, and on-page SEO fundamentals in content creation
- Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to support research, outreach, and workflow efficiency
- Follow internal SOPs and quality standards, and continuously improve execution based on feedback
Requirements
- Experience in SEO with a strong focus on backlinking (portfolio or sample work preferred)
- Basic to intermediate content writing skills with an understanding of SEO principles
- Solid knowledge of link-building strategies, anchor text usage, and off-page SEO best practices
- High attention to detail, particularly in link accuracy, formatting, and content quality
- Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar) is an advantage
- Comfortable using AI tools or willing to learn quickly
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Trainable, adaptable, and able to follow structured processes and guidelinesExperience with technical SEO or advanced on-page optimization
- Background in digital marketing or content strategy
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress)
