RESPONSIBILITIES:

AI-Powered Content Generation
– Use AI writing platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Content at Scale) to draft blog posts, service pages, FAQs, and other web content.
– Tailor AI prompts to produce content that is factually accurate, on-brand, and aligned with SEO objectives.
– Implement batching or scaling methods using AI to accelerate content production across multiple topics.

Editorial Review & Optimization
– Review, revise, and fact-check AI-generated content to ensure accuracy, clarity, grammar, tone, and brand voice consistency.
– Optimize content for target keywords, semantic relevance, and structured formatting (e.g., headers, lists, bullets).
– Ensure readability and engagement for both users and search engines.
– Ensure content is topically relevant and matches the client priorities for both seasonality, location focus, and services offered.

Performance Monitoring & Refinement
– Use tools like Google Search Console, GA4, and Surfer SEO to monitor performance and refine content accordingly.
– Perform periodic audits to refresh or prune older content, improving overall site quality.
– Track KPIs such as organic traffic, bounce rate, time on page, and ranking changes for each piece of content.

Collaboration & Workflow
– Work cross-functionally with SEO and development teams to have content written effectively and on time.
– Stay current with SEO trends, algorithm changes, and AI tool developments.
– Create documentation or templates to improve AI content workflows and editorial standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

– Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is typically preferred.
– 2+ years of professional experience in content writing or blogging, preferably in an agency or B2C environment.
– Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to grammar, clarity, and tone.
– Ability to adapt tone and style to different brand voices and audiences.
– Understanding of search intent and how to craft content that ranks and converts.
– Ability to iterate on content based on ranking or engagement metrics.
– Experience using AI writing tools like ChatGPT, SurferSEO, or ZimmWriter to generate or assist with content.
– Ability to prompt effectively and then revise AI content for factual accuracy, SEO optimization, and originality.
– Awareness of AI content detection tools and best practices to avoid duplicate or low-quality output.
– Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced publishing environment.
– Openness to feedback and collaboration with SEO strategists, designers, and developers.
