Sleek

About the role

We are looking for a Senior technical SEO specialist who is excited about joining a global team and be part of our future success.  You will be part of a global marketing team, reporting into the Global Content and SEO lead.

For the right candidate, there is a clear path for career progression, with the potential to advance to an SEO Manager role within 1-2 years, based on performance and the impact you make on the business.

Mission: As the Senior SEO Specialist at Sleek, your mission is to drive the visibility and online presence of our world-class website, ensuring it ranks for key terms and services in our core markets. By leveraging cutting-edge SEO strategies and technical expertise, you will help us become the go-to solution in our industry, optimising every aspect of our site to achieve sustainable growth and a dominant market position. Your work will be essential in making our website a leader in organic search performance globally.

Outcomes:

1. Increased Organic Visibility and Traffic: Drive significant growth in organic search traffic by improving the website’s rankings for high-priority keywords related to accounting, company formation, and compliance services in key markets like Australia, the UK, Singapore, and Hong Kong. Monitor and optimise SEO performance across all regions and services.

2. Improved Technical SEO and Site Health: Ensure that the website is technically optimised to world-class standards, addressing issues such as crawlability, indexation, site speed, and mobile usability. Conduct regular site audits and resolve technical SEO issues to maintain or improve rankings and search engine accessibility.

3. Collaborative Content Optimization: Work closely with the Head of Content to ensure that content is optimised for SEO and aligned with target keywords and business goals. Provide guidance and actionable insights to direct content efforts for maximum impact in search performance.

4. Increased Conversion Rates from Organic Traffic: Collaborate with content, marketing, and product teams to not only increase organic traffic but also improve the quality of leads by driving conversions through optimised landing pages. Ensure a seamless user journey from search to conversion, particularly for key service areas like healthcare accounting and other specialised services.

5. International SEO Leadership: Implement and manage SEO strategies for multi-regional websites, optimising content, metadata, and technical configurations for each market. Maintain strong visibility for critical terms and services in the UK, Australia, Singapore, and Hong Kong, ensuring localised SEO efforts are executed effectively.

Requirements

To do this, you will have a minimum of 8  years experience in a technical SEO role. We are open to hiring globally for this role, so location is not important.

Behavioural fit is also important at Sleek, and we will be looking for candidates that have a proven track record of embodying the below attributes in their recent roles:

Ownership: This shows reliability and helps build trust within the team. We move fast and need to know that everyone will see things through to completion and proactively help to get things back on track when challenges arise. Accountability is really important to us.

Humility: There is so much we don’t know. Humility allows for open-mindedness to feedback and a willingness to learn from others. It paves the way for collaboration and creates a positive work environment. It is a key ingredient of self awareness and emotional intelligence.

Structured thinking: Our business is complex with many layers (many services, many countries, many cultures). Regardless of whether you’re more analytical or creative in nature, being able to show sound judgement is important to us. It ensures solutions are pragmatic and balance the needs of the organisation, team and customers.

Data-driven: We are a data rich business with ~15,000 small customers.  Each decision we make can impact many more people than we realise – so it’s critical that we use sound data to support our strategies and review the success of our initiatives.

Constructive candour: It’s not a matter of if, but when difficult interpersonal situations arise.  Disagreement, conflict and disappointment are a given in a fast moving business where people care about their work.  People that proactively have tough conversations with kindness help build empathy, trust and great working relationships.

Autonomy: We value independent thinkers who take ownership of their work and drive projects to completion. Autonomy means having the ability to make informed decisions, manage your time effectively, and follow through on responsibilities without needing constant oversight. It fosters a sense of trust and accountability, which is critical in a fast-paced environment where individual contributions have a significant impact on the business’s overall success.

Curiosity: In an ever-evolving digital landscape, curiosity is key. It drives a desire to explore new ideas, technologies, and trends. A curious mind challenges the status quo and seeks out opportunities for improvement, ensuring that we stay at the forefront of industry advancements. Curiosity fosters continuous learning and innovation, enabling us to better serve our customers and adapt to market changes.

Certain staff at Sleek are also eligible for our employee share ownership plan and can share in the upside of our stellar growth trajectory as we work toward listing on a prominent stock exchange in the Asia Pacific region.
