Virtual Assistant (SEO & Content)

Salary:

We’re looking for a candidate to help with the next phase of growth. This individual will work closely with the company’s Principal to assist with content creation for our latest website – Vegtotable.com.

Candidates must have incredible written communication skills, be highly organized, resourceful, and have a knack for project management. We’re looking for someone profit-minded and results-driven to help us build out helpful content that makes our audience want to keep reading, watching, and listening more.

This role will be exciting if you love to learn, are bursting with ideas, and are a self-starter who can take a project from idea to completion. As a small business, we have a rapidly changing work environment with shifting priorities, and no two days are ever the same. We welcome team members who like to take risks, contribute ideas, and aren’t afraid to ask questions.

What You’ll Be Doing:
– Researching topics our audience wants to hear about and pitching them to editors
– Assisting with SEO research and implementation
– Managing large amounts of content in written, image, and video form for blogs and social media channels
– Writing article drafts based on the content information received
– SEO optimizing content
– Editing video content for social media and YouTube

Must-Haves:
– Written and verbal communication skills (experience in writing, journalism, training, customer service, social media, or copywriting)
– Experience managing multiple schedules (including your own); highly proactive and able to take initiative
– Love for learning and professional development
– Superior attention to detail and project management skills
– Ability to work Monday through Friday, 6 AM to 3 PM Pacific Time (US)
– Typing speed of 80 WPM with an accuracy of at least 95%

Nice to Have’s
– marketing, graphic design, and video editing experience
– copywriting experience
– SEO experience
– experience with the following software: Squarespace, SEMRush, Google Analytics, YouTube Studio

Perks:
– Base salary of $800 per month with bonus potential of an additional $400 per month (based on revenue goals)
– Paid US Holidays and 2 weeks of paid vacation time per year after 90 days of work
