WordPress Web Designer & Seo Link Building Specialist (off page SEO)

About the Role

We are looking for a results-driven WordPress Web Designer & SEO Specialist who understands both design and performance.

This role is not just about building websites, it’s about creating high-converting, fast, and search-optimized digital assets that drive real business results.

You will be responsible for:

Designing and managing WordPress websites

Improving user experience and conversion flow

Executing SEO strategies with a strong focus on off-page link building

Optimizing website performance and speed

This is a hybrid role combining design, technical SEO, and growth marketing.

Key Responsibilities

1. WordPress Website Design & Management

Design, build, and maintain WordPress websites (landing pages, service pages, blogs)

Ensure mobile responsiveness across all devices

Implement clean, modern, high-end layouts aligned with brand standards

Manage plugins, themes, and updates to ensure site stability and security

2. UX / Conversion Optimization

Improve user journeys and page structure to increase conversions

Optimize:

Call-to-actions (CTAs)

Page hierarchy

Navigation and flow

Identify friction points and continuously improve usability

Work closely with marketing to align pages with campaign goals

3. Technical SEO & Site Performance

Optimize website speed and performance (Core Web Vitals)

Implement best practices for:

Image compression

Lazy loading

Caching

Code optimization (CSS/JS minification)

Ensure proper indexing, crawlability, and site structure

Conduct basic on-page SEO (meta tags, headings, internal linking)

4. Off-Page SEO & Link Building (Primary Focus)

Execute and manage link-building campaigns:

Guest posting

Outreach campaigns

Directory submissions (high-quality only)

Partnerships and backlink opportunities

Identify high-authority domains for backlink acquisition

Build and maintain relationships with publishers and website owners

Track backlink growth and domain authority improvements

5. SEO Tracking & Reporting

Monitor SEO performance using tools such as:

Google Search Console

Ahrefs / SEMrush

Track:

Backlink profile

Keyword rankings

Organic traffic growth

Provide clear, actionable reports and recommendations

Requirements

Core Skills

Proven experience with WordPress (themes, builders, plugins)

Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles

Solid knowledge of SEO fundamentals, including:

Link building strategies

Technical SEO (site speed, indexing)

Experience with SEO tools:

Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar

Google Search Console

Technical Skills (Preferred)

Familiarity with:

HTML, CSS (basic edits and troubleshooting)

Page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, or similar)

Speed optimization tools (GTmetrix, PageSpeed Insights)

Understanding of Core Web Vitals

Soft Skills

Detail-oriented and highly organized

Strong problem-solving mindset

Ability to think in terms of conversion and business impact, not just design

Self-starter with the ability to execute without constant supervision
