About the Role

We are hiring an SEO & AI Search Project Manager to own a book of clients. You run the accounts: the strategy, the calls, the reporting, and the work getting done on time. This is a full-time, remote contractor role for someone who is organized, direct with clients, and strong on SEO fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Own the client relationship
• Be the main point of contact for 4 to 6 client accounts
• Run weekly client check-ins and handle day-to-day client communication
• Liaise between clients and the ViewEngine founders
• Build bi-weekly and custom performance reports and walk clients through results
• Keep every account’s Notion board current, prioritized, and moving
• Translate strategy into clear tasks for content writers and developers, then QA what comes back
• Join the daily internal touchpoint with updates and blockers
• Make sure nothing falls through the cracks
• Keyword research, topical maps, and content planning (Ahrefs, Search Console, GA4)
• Technical audits: schema, headings, internal links, indexing, site structure
• Google Business Profile management for local clients
• Track and grow client visibility in AI search using Radar, our in-house AI tracking platform
• Build AI action plans: which prompts to win, which content and authority statements to update

Qualifications

• Excellent (native-level) English, written and spoken
• 2+ years of hands-on SEO experience, agency preferred

Required Skills

• Comfortable leading client calls and delivering hard news when needed
• Drill sergeant organization: many clients, many deadlines, none missed
• Analytical: you read Search Console and Ahrefs data and decide what to do next
• Curious about AI search and how it changes the job
• Works independently and makes decisions daily
• Available during U.S. Eastern hours

• Agency SEO experience
• Interest in AI search and hands-on work with AI-related tools
