JOB OVERVIEW
As our Off-Page SEO Specialist, you’ll build high-quality, US-based backlinks, citations, and business listings for our local service business clients. Link building is the core of this role.
You’ll follow our SOPs, track your work in our shared trackers, and report results weekly.
Your work will help us:
– Grow the authority and referring domains of our clients’ websites
– Rank our clients above their competitors in search results
– Bring in more leads through our clients’ websites
– Strengthen Local Visibility’s reputation as a top-performing SEO agency
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Link building: Build US-based backlinks, citations, and directory listings. No link farms or PBNs.
– Citations and listings: Maintain key citations and business profiles (Google, Bing, Apple, Yelp, Facebook, BBB) with consistent business info.
– Tracking: Keep trackers updated, check links monthly, and report on links built.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Experience
– 3+ years of link building or off-page SEO for US businesses
– Some experience with citation building and business listings (BrightLocal or Whitespark a plus)
Skills
– Google search operators to find link prospects
– Semrush for competitor backlink research and gap analysis
– Spotting bad sites like PBNs, link farms, fake traffic, and non-US audiences
TOOLS & PLATFORMS
You’ll use the following tools day to day:
– BrightLocal and Whitespark for finding, building, and tracking citations.
– Semrush for competitor backlink research.
– HASO, helpanseoout.com
– Google Docs and Sheets for SOPs and client trackers.
Job Type: Full-Time 40 hrs Weekly
