UPCOMING PAID TRAINING ADS
===================================
BruntWork
Position Overview:
We’re hiring a full-time SEO Expert to lead search performance for our clients—primarily Texas-based B2B companies that work with heavy equipment and industrial services. Your main priority will be to improve and protect our clients’ visibility in search by executing strong on-page and off-page SEO. You’ll own keyword strategy, collaborate with our web and content teams, and turn data into clear, actionable recommendations.
You’ll also manage Google Ads keyword strategies as a secondary responsibility, aligning paid and organic efforts to attract the right traffic—not just more traffic. A portion of your role will focus on staying ahead of Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) developments (AI overviews, featured snippets, etc.) and advising the team on how to adapt. As needed, you’ll optimize YouTube video metadata to support discoverability on search and YouTube. This is a remote position that requires strong communication and reliable work habits.
Job Highlights
- Hourly Rate: USD 7.79, the equivalent in your local currency
- Paid Hours per Week: 40
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, either 9 am – 6 pm or 8 am – 5 pm Central time.
- Work Arrangement: Work from home
- Contract: Independent Contractor
Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
Core Responsibilities:
SEO Strategy + Execution
- Lead on-page SEO for client websites: keyword mapping, metadata, internal linking,
- content optimization, headings, and crawlability.
- Support technical SEO: site audits, indexation, page speed insights, mobile
- usability, redirects, XML sitemaps, and structured data (schema) in collaboration
- with developers.
- Plan and execute off-page SEO: link-building strategies, citation management, and
- Reputation support to strengthen authority and trust signals.
- Maintain and improve key SEO scores and metrics, including domain authority, organic visibility, and rankings for priority keywords.
Google Ads & SEO
- Manage Google Ads keyword strategies: keyword research, match types, negative
- keywords, and ongoing optimization for cost-effective performance.
- Monitor and report on KPIs for both SEO and Ads (rankings, CTR, CPC, conversions,
- etc.) and regularly recommend strategic adjustments.
- Provide monthly updates on emerging AEO trends (AI-driven results, featured
- snippets, knowledge panels, etc.) and propose ways for clients to stay ahead.
- YouTube & Cross-Channel Optimization
- Optimize YouTube video titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, and playlists to
- support both YouTube search and Google search visibility.
- Collaborate with video and content teams so that scripts, landing pages, and
- supporting content are aligned with SEO goals.
Collaboration + Reporting
- Coordinate with social media, web, and video teams via Slack & Microsoft Office.
- Turn analytics into clear, client-ready insights and recommendations—both
- monthly and as needed.
- Follow creative and strategic briefs, hit deadlines, and adapt feedback efficiently
- and professionally.
Traits of the Ideal Candidate:
- 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience (agency or in-house) strongly preferred.
- Proficient with core SEO and analytics tools: Google Search Console, Google
- Analytics, Google Ads, and at least one professional SEO platform (Ahrefs,
- SEMrush, Moz, etc.).
- Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and basic technical SEO principles.
- Comfortable planning and managing keyword strategies for both SEO and Google
- Ads.
- Able to interpret data and translate it into practical actions, not just charts and
- dashboards.
- Familiar with B2B audiences—ideally in industrial, construction, energy, or heavy equipment related sectors—and able to think in terms of leads, deals, and real-world work.
- Have a practical understanding of web platforms (WordPress, hosting environments, themes, and plugins) to ensure SEO feedback is appropriate.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and consistent in execution and documentation.
- Communicates clearly and professionally in written and verbal English.
How This Role Impacts Our Team
- Increases qualified organic and paid traffic for our clients, leading to more
- meaningful leads and revenue.
- Helps our websites outperform competitors on the search results page, especially
- in competitive industrial niches.
- Keeps Media Quest and our clients ahead of search and AEO changes rather than
- reacting after the fact.
- Frees up our executives and creatives to focus on high-level strategy by owning SEO
- execution and reporting.
- Brings strategic value by proactively listening, asking sharp questions, and thinking
- beyond keyword checklists.
Independent Contractor Perks:
- HMO Coverage for eligible locations
- Permanent work-from-home
- Immediate hiring
