Website Windpixel
ABOUT US
Windpixel is a Perth digital agency. We help trades and service businesses across Australia get found and get more customers, through websites, Local SEO, content and lead generation. We’re judged on one thing: whether our clients get more calls, enquiries and jobs. We’re small, busy and growing. Every task lives in our own client portal, so you always know what to work on and your work is seen. Perth is on the same time zone as the Philippines, so you work normal daytime hours.
THE ROLE
You’ll work across all our services, and grow into the areas you’re strongest in.
– Local SEO: manage clients’ Google Business Profiles (posts, photos, services, reviews), directory listings and citations, and help prepare monthly reports. Ownership of the outcomes!
– Websites: build and improve client sites in WordPress (Elementor and Avada), make client change requests from our visual feedback tool, and look after site care (updates, backups, checks).
– SEO: page titles, meta descriptions, heading structure, internal linking, image alt text, schema markup, Core Web Vitals and page speed.
– Content: Google Business Profile posts, social media posts, and website page copy that sounds natural to Australian customers and brings in enquiries.
– Lead generation: help build and look after Google Ads and Meta ad campaigns, landing pages, conversion tracking (Google Tag Manager, GA4) and reporting.
MUST HAVE
– Excellent English. You write clear, natural, error-free English that sounds like a local Australian business, not a template. Your spoken English is confident and easy to understand.
– You care about client results. You don’t just finish a task; you ask whether it will get the client more enquiries, and you suggest what would.
– Strong hands-on WordPress skills (Elementor or Avada). This is essential: you’ll be in client sites every day.
– Strong skills in at least one more of: Local SEO, SEO, content writing, Google or Meta ads.
– Excellent communication. Clear short updates to clients and the team, and you speak up early when something is unclear or blocked.
– You switch easily between clients. In one day you might fix a plumber’s contact form, write a medical clinic’s Google post and improve a mining company’s page titles. You keep each client’s style and needs straight, and know which job matters most right now.
– A strong, steady work ethic. You like a full day of real work, keep a good pace, and take pride in how much you get done. When the timer is running, you’re working.
– Proactive. When you finish a task, you ask for the next one straight away.
NICE TO HAVE
– Experience with Australian clients or trades and service businesses.
– Google Ads or Meta ads campaign experience, and conversion tracking.
– Schema, Core Web Vitals and technical SEO.
DETAILS
– Full time, 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
– US$4 to $8 an hour depending on skill and experience. Paid weekly.
– Every completed task shows in our portal, so your effort is visible. Hard work is noticed and rewarded with more responsibility and pay.
– Long term for the right person.
HOW TO APPLY
We read every application that follows these steps. We don’t read the ones that don’t.
Email us with the subject line:
DM26: Your Full Name – We may email you back asking you to complete a questionnaire and a follow-up meeting
Your email must include:
1. A Loom video, 3 to 5 minutes, in English (loom.com is free). Applications without a Loom video are not read.
In the video, share your screen and:
a) Introduce yourself and tell us which of our five areas you’re strongest in.
b) Open a WordPress site you built and show us how you built it (the editor, not just the front end).
c) Show us one piece of work you’re proud of (a website, a Google Business Profile, an ad campaign or content) and explain how it helped the client get more customers.
d) Show us one improvement you would make to it now, and why.
2. Our homepage, reviewed: visit windpixel.com.au and write the 3 changes you would make first to win us more enquiries (SEO, content or conversion), in order of impact, and why.
3. A writing sample: write a Google Business Profile post (80 to 120 words) for a Perth plumber about repairing hot water systems. Write it for local homeowners, in natural Australian English, with a clear call to action. No AI-generated text: we can tell, and it will not be read.
4. Short written answers:
– Tell us about a time your work got a client a real result (more calls, enquiries, sales or rankings). What did you change, and how did you know it worked?
– What does a productive day look like for you? Give us a real example: what you completed in one day, for which clients, start to finish.
It’s 10am. You have a half-finished page build for one client, an urgent “our contact form is broken” message from another, and three Google posts to write for a third. What order do you do them in, and why?
– You finish all your tasks at 2pm and nobody has given you more work. What do you do?
6. Your hourly rate and the date you could start.
Shortlisted applicants complete a short paid test task.
