Job Role: SEO and Content Creation

Compensation range: $2,000 AUD – $2,500 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM – 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you’ll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: A boutique digital marketing agency specialising in premium website design, SEO, and online advertising for Australian service-based businesses. The team focuses on building modern, high-performing websites designed to convert and achieve strong search engine visibility.

Role Overview: We are looking for an SEO Content & Digital Marketing Specialist who can write clear, compelling website copy for target audiences while also contributing to website builds and on-page SEO execution.

This is not a blogging role. You will be responsible for structuring and writing SEO-driven copy that speaks directly to the right audience, aligns with real search intent, and drives commercial outcomes. You will also assist in implementing content within WordPress, refining on-page optimisation, and supporting broader digital marketing initiatives.

You will work closely with the founder, who currently leads all SEO and website strategy. Training and direction will be provided, but we are looking for someone who already understands the fundamentals of SEO, search intent, marketing psychology, and website structure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write clear, audience-focused website copy that communicates value and drives enquiries
• Conduct keyword research and build content frameworks based on search intent and commercial value
• Plan and structure page hierarchies that align with ranking strategy and user behaviour
• Create, format, and publish webpages within WordPress
• Implement on-page optimisation including headings, metadata, and content refinement
• Support website messaging and positioning improvements across new and existing builds
• Contribute to landing page development and conversion-focused copy
• Monitor evolving SEO and AI search trends and apply learnings to ongoing projects
• Assist with content updates based on ranking performance and lead data
• Work directly with the founder to execute SEO and website strategy

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• You can show proof that your work has improved rankings, traffic, or qualified enquiries
• Your written English is strong, clear, and professional
• You are confident working in WordPress and publishing pages correctly
• You understand on-page SEO fundamentals and how content supports performance
• You stay up to date with SEO and AI search developments
• You are reliable, organised, and able to deliver quality work consistently

Work Arrangement & Expectations:

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.

To ensure alignment and transparency, successful candidates will be expected to:

• Be available for meetings and collaboration during core [AEST or PHT] business hours
• Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work
• Reflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile (clearly marked as “Independent Contractor”)
