SEO Assistant

At TalentPop App, we’re building our own in-house SEO and marketing capability, and we’re looking for a detail-oriented, data-driven, and creative SEO Assistant to join our growing remote team.

As our SEO Assistant, you’ll work closely with our SEO and Marketing teams to implement strategies that help our brand grow and perform online. This is a real opportunity to build a career in SEO with a team that actually invests in your development — from wherever home is for you.

This is a genuinely permanent, 100% remote role based in Jamaica. No office, no commute into Kingston or Montego Bay traffic, no return-to-office plans down the line.

The basics:

Pay: Paid in USD, hourly — your income holds its value, no matter what’s happening with local exchange rates

Location: 100% remote — open to applicants in Jamaica, Philippines, South Africa, Pakistan, and APAC

What You’ll Do

• Conduct SEO audits, keyword research, and content optimization
• Support backlink outreach and monitor site performance using Google Analytics
• Manage product catalogs, site structure, and our Shopify CMS
• Use tools like Klaviyo to analyze customer behavior and engagement
• Create reports and stay current on SEO trends and best practices

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ years of SEO experience in an e-commerce setting
• Proficiency with tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, and Excel
• Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, and Google Merchant Center (preferred)
• Excellent writing skills; design experience (e.g., Canva) is a plus
• A self-starter who thrives in a remote, fast-paced environment

Technical Requirements

• A personal PC or laptop with a minimum i5 processor
• Reliable internet with a minimum of 25 Mbps upload and download speed
