The Chat Agency
SEO & Digital Marketing Specialist (Philippines – Remote)
Company: Digital Hitmen (Perth, Australia)
Type: Part-time to start (ramping to full-time)
Salary: ₱45,000–₱60,000 per month (depending on experience)
Digital Hitmen is looking for a Philippines-based SEO & Digital Marketing Specialist to help us lift rankings, sharpen content, and keep client sites looking great across mobile and desktop. You’ll start part-time with a clear path to full-time as you show initiative and take ownership.
What you’ll do
- SEO & Content
- Update and refine blog posts; implement on-page SEO (titles, meta, internal links, schema basics).
- Use AI tools (including ChatGPT) to draft, expand, and improve content—then edit for accuracy and tone.
- Build simple content briefs and upload/publish in CMS (WordPress or similar).
- Website Development Support
- Follow task instructions, prepare/upload copy and assets, and QA pages for mobile/desktop.
- Run website audits (speed, mobile, basic UX, indexation issues) and flag/resolve “hidden nasties”.
- Social Media
- Create and schedule posts, apply brand templates in Canva, and set posting parameters.
- Use AI for ideation while exercising judgment on what’s a strong post vs. noise.
Tools you’ll use
- ChatGPT (and similar AI tools) for research, outlines, first drafts, and optimisation ideas.
- Canva for branded graphics and social assets.
- CMS (WordPress), Google Search Console, Google Analytics/GA4, page speed tools (e.g., PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix), and common SEO extensions.
What we’re looking for
- Solid SEO and content foundations: on-page, basic technical checks, internal linking, image optimisation.
- Comfortable publishing in a CMS and checking work across devices.
- Social scheduling experience and an eye for brand consistency.
- Strong written English; confident verbal English is a plus (you may call clients for review requests).
- A self-starter who shows initiative, works efficiently without constant supervision, and cares about outcomes. If we don’t rank, we don’t get paid—your work moves the needle.
- Comfortable learning our process; basic digital marketing is fine—we’ll teach you our way.
Nice to have
- Basic understanding of schema markup, simple page builders, and lightweight technical SEO.
- Experience coordinating with developers (raising clear tickets, testing fixes).
- Examples/portfolio of published blog posts, content updates, or social campaigns.
Hours & Growth
- Start part-time, prove impact, then ramp to full-time.
- Work remotely from anywhere in the Philippines with some overlap to AWST (Perth time).
Benefits
- Competitive PH salary (₱45,000–₱60,000 monthly, depending on experience).
- Clear scope, fast feedback loops, and growth in responsibility as you deliver results.
- Chance to work across multiple sites and brands.
How to apply
Email your CV, a short note on two SEO/content wins you’ve delivered, and links to:
- 2–3 blog posts or pages you’ve optimised/published
- 2–3 social posts/graphics you made (Canva or similar)
- (Optional) A quick Loom (≤3 minutes) walking through a mini audit of any page (mobile checks, speed, and 2–3 SEO fixes you’d recommend)
