SEO Specialist

Nautical Staffing is a virtual staffing company that specializes in sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding the
best people for our clients across the US.
We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, and analytical SEO Specialist to join our growing team!

Responsibilities:
➢ Identify tactics and techniques to increase site traffic and reach a high ranking in search engine
results pages (SERPs)
➢ Manage all SEO activities, including on-page, off-page, and link building strategies
➢ Set measurable goals and metrics and create reports that demonstrate site performance
➢ Work with web developers and make technical recommendations
➢ Work with content writers and create a roadmap tailored for the target audience
➢ Make recommendations to optimize website copy, meta data, and landing pages
➢ Perform keyword research, expansion, and optimization
➢ Regularly check search terms, rankings, and analytics to monitor site performance
➢ Utilize user experience and conversion rate optimization methods to turn visitors into leads
➢ Monitor search engine algorithms and keep abreast of trends and changes
➢ Monitor competitor performance
➢ Collaborate with other team members, such as PPC Specialist, Social Media Managers, etc.”

Qualifications:
➢ Keen understanding of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
➢ Proven track record in on-page and off-page SEO, including link building
➢ Solid experience in keyword research and optimization
➢ In-depth experience in analytics tools
➢ Prior experience working with web development and content teams
➢ Familiarity with web development languages and content management systems
➢ Deep interest in SEO trends and best practices
