Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and improve search engine rankings, including link-building campaigns and creating blog posts
2. Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and performance tracking to guide content and technical optimization.
3. Optimize WordPress websites for speed, mobile responsiveness, and SEO best practices.
4. Create and optimize meta tags, alt text, internal links, and schema markup.
5. Analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO software (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs).
6. Create content and ensure SEO principles are applied to blogs, pages, and other digital assets.
7. Monitor and report on SEO performance, including rankings, traffic, and conversion rates.
8. Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and WordPress technologies.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role.
2. Proficient in using WordPress, including themes, plugins, and customizations.
3. Strong understanding of SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
4. Solid knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies.
5. Experience with website optimization techniques, including mobile-first indexing and page speed improvements.
6. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript as it pertains to SEO.
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with local SEO strategies for virtual businesses.
2. Knowledge of structured data and schema markup.
3. Ability to manage multiple WordPress sites simultaneously.
4. Basic graphic design skills using tools like Canva or Adobe Suite (a plus).
5. Local link-building
