Job Summary: As an SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Specialist, you will play a crucial role in improving the online visibility and organic search rankings of a company’s website. Your primary responsibility will be to implement effective strategies and tactics to drive targeted traffic, increase website rankings, and generate leads or conversions.

Responsibilities:

  • Keyword Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify relevant and high-ranking keywords.
    • Analyze search volume, competition, and user intent to optimize keyword targeting.
  • On-Page Optimization:
    • Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, and URLs to improve search engine visibility.
    • Ensure proper keyword placement and density while maintaining readability and user experience.
    • Implement best practices for title tags, meta descriptions, and schema markup.
  • Technical SEO:
    • Conduct technical audits to identify and resolve website issues affecting search engine crawling and indexing.
    • Optimize website structure, navigation, internal linking, and XML sitemaps.
    • Monitor website performance, page load speed, and mobile-friendliness.
  • Off-Page Optimization:
    • Develop and execute link building strategies to increase the authority and credibility of the website.
    • Identify and pursue opportunities for guest blogging, content promotion, and influencer outreach.
    • Monitor and manage backlink profiles, disavow toxic links, and maintain a healthy link profile.
  • Content Strategy:
    • Collaborate with content creators to develop and optimize engaging, keyword-rich content.
    • Ensure content aligns with SEO best practices and supports the overall SEO objectives.
    • Regularly update and refresh existing content to improve relevancy and user experience.
  • SEO Performance Tracking and Reporting:
    • Monitor website rankings, organic traffic, and conversion metrics using SEO tools and analytics platforms.
    • Generate regular reports on SEO performance, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, algorithm changes, and emerging SEO techniques.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO principles, best practices, and the latest industry trends.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, etc.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and website development principles.
  • Analytical mindset and proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
