The SEO Specialist & Implementor is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing strategies that improve search engine rankings, drive organic traffic, and generate qualified leads. This role blends strategic SEO planning with hands-on implementation, ensuring both technical and content- based initiatives are executed effectively.
Key Responsibilities
1. SEO Strategy & Planning
– Conduct keyword research and mapping to align with business goals.
– Develop SEO roadmaps, including on-page, off-page, and technical strategies.
– Identify opportunities for competitive differentiation and traffic growth.
– Collaborate with leadership to align SEO efforts with brand, marketing, and sales objectives.
2. On-Page SEO Implementation
– Optimize metadata (titles, meta descriptions, alt tags, schema markup).
– Improve site structure, URL architecture, and internal linking.
– Ensure SEO best practices in content creation and publishing.
– Implement page speed, mobile responsiveness, and Core Web Vitals improvements.
3. Content SEO
– Create and optimize blog posts, landing pages, and service pages for target keywords.
– Work with content teams to produce high-quality, search-friendly copy.
– Develop topic clusters, pillar pages, and structured content calendars.
– Implement FAQs, schema, and featured snippet targeting strategies.
4. Technical SEO
– Perform site audits (Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.) and resolve issues.
– Manage XML sitemaps, robots.txt, and canonical tags.
– Identify and fix crawl errors, indexation issues, and broken links.
– Coordinate with developers to implement site speed, mobile, and accessibility improvements.
5. Off-Page SEO & Authority Building
– Execute backlink-building strategies through guest posting, partnerships, and PR outreach.
– Manage local SEO efforts: Google Business Profile optimization, citation building, reviews.
– Track and disavow harmful backlinks.
– Collaborate with industry partners for co-marketing and digital PR opportunities.
6. Monitoring, Reporting & Analytics
– Set up and manage Google Analytics 4, Search Console, and SEO tools.
– Develop dashboards and recurring performance reports.
– Track KPIs: organic traffic, keyword rankings, CTR, conversions, ROI.
– Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
