MSE Environmental is a national environmental testing and consulting firm specializing in mold testing and inspections, environmental sampling, indoor air quality assessments, and damage-related evaluations for residential, commercial, and industrial properties.

Our work is compliance-driven and trust-based. Clients rely on us for accurate testing, clear reporting, and fast turnaround when health, safety, or liability is involved. Organic search is a critical growth channel for our testing services, and we are investing heavily in SEO to expand visibility across competitive local and regional markets.

We are hiring an SEO Strategist to fully own technical SEO, on-page SEO, and off-page SEO for our website and service pages.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Technical SEO (Audits, Fixes, Foundations)
• Set up and manage Google Search Console, GA4, and Google Tag Manager
• Install and configure Meta Pixel, YouTube
• Ads pixel, and Microsoft Clarity
• Run full technical audits using SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or Sitebulb
• Fix crawl errors, indexation issues, canonical problems, and redirect chains
• Manage XML sitemaps, robots.txt, and site architecture
• Improve site speed, mobile usability, and Core Web Vitals
• Ensure pages are correctly indexed and eligible to rank
• On-Page SEO (Optimization & Structure)
• Perform keyword research for environmental testing services, including mold testing and inspections

Optimize pages for:

• Meta titles and descriptions
• H1–H3 heading structure
• Image ALT tags
• Internal linking and anchor text
• Build keyword-to-page mapping and SEO matrices
• Implement schema markup:
  • LocalBusiness
  • Services
  • FAQ
  • Article
  • Video
• Improve content clarity, relevance, and E-E-A-T signals
• Support scaling SEO across multiple testing and inspection services
• Off-Page SEO (Authority & Trust)
• Execute or coordinate white-hat link building
• Manage citations and business listings where applicable
• Support HARO or journalist outreach
• Assist with guest post and niche-relevant backlink placements
• Monitor backlink profile, referring domains, and authority growth using SEMrush or Ahrefs
• Tracking, Reporting & Monitoring
• Set up rank tracking and organic visibility monitoring
• Track keyword movement, impressions, clicks, and CTR
• Review GA4 and GSC data for issues and opportunities
• Monitor form submissions, events, and conversion paths
• Proactively identify SEO problems and recommend fixes

Required Experience

• 3–5 years of hands-on SEO experience
• Proven ability to improve rankings and organic traffic (proof required)

Experience with:

• SEMrush and/or Ahrefs
• Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager
• Google Search Console and PageSpeed Insights
• Screaming Frog or Sitebulb
• Microsoft Clarity and Meta Pixel
• RankMath or Yoast (WordPress)
• Comfortable handling technical, on-page, and off-page SEO
• Able to execute independently and follow documented SOPs
• Bonus (Nice to Have)
• Experience with environmental services, testing firms, or regulated industries
• Strong local SEO background
• GoHighLevel familiarity
• YouTube SEO basics
