Position: SEO Web Developer

Work hours: 9:00am-6:00pm Australian Time

Compensation range: US$1,500 – US$1,800

About The Role

As the SEO Web Developer, you will be responsible for executing SEO strategies to enhance search engine rankings and improve online visibility. This role also involves providing support to the web development team, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with website updates. You’ll work closely with digital marketing and development teams to ensure that SEO initiatives align with overall business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Implement on-page SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and increase website visibility.
• Optimize website elements including content, meta tags, headers, and URLs according to SEO best practices.
• Conduct technical SEO audits and resolve issues to enhance site performance and indexing.
• Assist the web development team with front-end and back-end tasks as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SEO and website functionality issues.
• Collaborate with the content team to integrate SEO best practices into all content initiatives.
• Track and analyze SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other relevant platforms.
• Prepare and present SEO performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
• Work closely with digital marketing and web development teams to align SEO strategies with broader business goals.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience as an SEO Specialist, Web Developer, or similar role with a strong focus on SEO implementation.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, or Webflow.
• Familiarity with SEO tools like SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, or similar.
• Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting data and making data-driven decisions.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with SEO analytics tools and reporting platforms.
• Knowledge of web performance optimization and troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of web design and UX/UI principles.
