SEO WordPress Specialist

Salary: $1500 monthly

An exciting opportunity exists for an SEO Specialist in our website and digital marketing agency.

This position is suited to someone who loves to work in a team.

Must have a reliable internet connection and a good PC.

Must know SEO, not just what it stands for!

Must know WordPress, not just how to spell it.

We want someone who has high attention to detail and listens well to instructions.

Ideally have experience with our tool stack above, although any front end page builder experience considered.

• Image Alt Tag/Title Tag Optimisation

Communications direct with clients, via both email and phone.

• Zoom for team and client meetings
• Process St for ALL processes and systems
• Trello for tasking

We build websites, from business start-ups to sophisticated high level websites.

We have our premium level websites, as well as 3 start-up level websites, and some predesigned ‘turn-key’ niched industry websites.

We do SEO, both on a Static (one off set of tasks – keyword research, meta data creation, and onsite SEO) as well as Dynamic (monthly tasks – on page SEO, citations, backlinks, disavow actions, etc) as well as Google My Business, Facebook Pixel setup.

We prefer if someone has domain management experience, DNS management, CDN management, etc, but NOT essential.

We want a person who understands the true purpose of a website, to convert visitors into enquiries. SEO can also be about conversion tactics as well as SEO best practices and principles.

We need a team player, who REALLY knows SEO, and Google and SEO Best Practices, and has the tech skill sets with our build stack.

They must be willing to do Zoom meetings, camera on, with clients and the team. Client Zoom call training provided.

They also need good interpersonal skills.

What does your day look like?

• Morning check in
• Check emails for project notifications, respond as appropriate
• Team Daily Tasks Focus Meetup (10 mins max)
• Check Trello Board for Priority 1 Tasks, check tasks previously assigned
• Check in with Project Manager as required
• Liaise with clients as required
• Handle brief questionnaires with project manager, and clients
• Handle SEO queries with project manner, and clients
• Check off that processes have been adhered to

I love my team, they have been with me for 12 years for one team members, 10 years for another, 6 years and then 2 years, and never leaving 🙂

We have a project manager that checks and feeds all the relative information through.
We have a local tech, who handles the phones, helps in support and also does SEO.
We have another local tech who handles all the hosting setup, techy stuff, and all things WordPress.
We have 3 graphics designers who makes ours and our clients websites look great online.
We also have 3 CRM Specialists on the team.
Then there’s me, I focus on sales, and marketing, networking, love creating new products and services,
