Job Details:
We are looking to fill a technical SEO assistant role.

The Company:
We are a marketing agency in New Jersey, USA specializing in helping lawyers with their marketing needs.

Key Responsibilities:
-Understanding basic SEO
-Understanding what orphan URLs are know how to fix them
-Know how to remove/redirect or 410 a URL
-Understanding sitemaps and how to remove URLs from it
-Proficient with WordPress.
-Editing pages.
-Using Yoast Premium to set titles and Meta info.
-Working from a Google spreadsheet to follow edits needed.
-Changing Title Tags, H1s, H2s etc and Meta Descriptions.
-Adding Alt tags to images.
-Setting internal links.
-Adding images to pages.

Detailed Qualifications:
-Proven experience in SEO.

Technical Qualifications:
-Proficient in English
-Must have a good internet connection
-Must have a computer
-Google suite proficient: gmail, sheets, docs, slides, etc.

Salary and Details:
This is a part-time work from home role for a U.S. company: 20 hours per week. Guaranteed hours, not freelance work.

Please note, there will be a potential opportunity to go full time in the future, depending on performance. Therefore, please apply only if you fully understand that this is currently a part-time role, but with a need to be flexible for the future in case it goes full time. There is no set date for when this goes full time, so apply accordingly (don’t waste your time and ours if you really need full time now).

The pay is $5 an hour.

On average, 3-6 major U.S. holidays paid: (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, etc.)

3 paid sick/vacation days after a 3-month probationary period (this is on top of the major holidays listed above).

Guaranteed 1 year raise (minimum 10%-20%).

The hours are Mon-Fri 10am-2pm EST (Eastern standard time). That is a 12 hour time difference from you-10pm-2am Philippine time would be the converted schedule for you.

***Important: if you have another job that conflicts with this schedule, please do not apply. Your screen will be tracked (Time Doctor software) so if it is discovered that you are working 2 jobs during the same schedule, you will end up wasting your time and ours.

Start date: sometime around November 6th. A set date will be provided after interviewing.

You will be an independent contractor. You will get paid via Payoneer twice a month.
