Overview:
Jet Go Travel is looking for a skilled WordPress Web Developer to optimize, maintain, and enhance our website. The ideal candidate will have experience in WordPress customization, UI/UX optimization, SEO, and performance enhancements to create a seamless and high-converting travel platform.

Responsibilities:
WordPress Development & Customization:
Build and maintain a fast, responsive, and SEO-friendly WordPress site.
Customize themes, templates, and page layouts for structured content.
Ensure mobile responsiveness and site-wide optimization.

Plugin & API Integration:
Configure and optimize essential WordPress plugins for performance and security.
Implement third-party API integrations (e.g., booking tools, social media, Google Maps).
Set up and manage Stripe payment processing for transactions.

Website Speed & Performance Optimization:
Optimize images, caching, and scripts to reduce load times.
Use tools like Google PageSpeed Insights, GTMetrix, and Lighthouse for improvements.
UI/UX Design & Conversion Optimization:
Enhance user experience, navigation, and conversion-focused elements.
Improve CTAs and page structures for better engagement.

SEO & Structured Data Implementation:
Implement on-page SEO best practices, including metadata, schema markup, and internal linking.
Optimize content formatting (H1, H2, H3 structure) and image alt tags.

Security & Maintenance:
Regularly update WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
Implement security best practices to protect against vulnerabilities.
Set up automated backups and site monitoring.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
? WordPress Development: Customization, theme modification, and site management.
? Frontend Development: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
? SEO & Performance Optimization: Understanding of on-page SEO, Core Web Vitals, and speed optimization.
? UI/UX Design & Mobile Responsiveness: Ability to improve user flow and design.
? API Integration & Payment Systems: Experience with Stripe and third-party API connections.
? Security & Maintenance: Knowledge of WordPress security best practices.
? Version Control & Hosting Management: Familiarity with Git, cPanel, and cloud hosting.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Skills):
? Experience with Travel or Hospitality Websites – Understanding travel niches and lead generation.
? Experience in Elementor, Divi, or Custom Page Builders – For front-end flexibility.
? Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, & Meta Pixel Setup – For tracking and optimization.
? Automation & CRM Integration – Familiarity with tools like GoHighLevel (GHL).
