Jumper Media helps local businesses dominate their markets through Local SEO, Google Business Profile optimization, and AI-driven search strategies. We’re growing quickly and are looking for an experienced SEO Team Lead to help us deliver exceptional results while continuing to improve how we operate.
This is not a traditional SEO role. If your experience is primarily in ecommerce, SaaS, or enterprise SEO, this probably isn’t the right fit. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about Local SEO and excited about where AI is taking search.
About the Role
As an SEO Team Lead, you’ll own a portfolio of local SEO clients from strategy through execution. You’ll work directly with clients, collaborate with teammates, and continuously improve the processes that help our clients rank across Google Maps, organic search, and AI-powered search experiences.

What You’ll Do:
  • Develop and execute Local SEO strategies for a portfolio of clients.
  • Optimize Google Business Profiles, websites, citations, and local link building campaigns.
  • Improve client visibility across Google Maps, Search, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
  • Analyze campaign performance and turn data into actionable recommendations.
  • Meet with clients to explain strategy, review results, and build strong relationships.
  • Manage multiple client projects while maintaining a high level of quality and organization.
  • Use AI tools to improve workflows, efficiency, and campaign execution.
  • Share ideas, test new strategies, and help improve internal SEO processes.

  • You successfully manage multiple client accounts while delivering projects on time.
  • You help improve internal SEO processes through testing, documentation, and collaboration.
  • You continue growing your Local SEO expertise and help raise the level of the team.
What We’re Looking For
Required Experience:
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Local SEO.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Business Profile optimization.
  • Experience with local citations and local link building.
  • Understanding of AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization).
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with SEO data and reporting.
  • Experience managing multiple client accounts.
  • Comfortable leading client meetings and communicating SEO strategy.
  • Experience integrating AI into daily workflows to improve efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Digital PR for local businesses.
  • Multi-location or franchise SEO experience.
  • Experience recovering suspended Google Business Profiles.
  • Experience recovering websites from algorithm penalties or significant ranking losses.

  • Jumper Local
  • Experience with platforms such as BrightLocal or Local Falcon is a plus.
