Key Responsibilities:
– Perform on-page SEO optimization (meta tags, headings, internal linking, content structure)
– Assist with technical SEO improvements (site audits, indexing, crawlability, page speed, basic schema)
– Support off-page SEO strategies (link building, citations, outreach)
– Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis
– Monitor website performance and identify growth opportunities
– Identify SEO issues and recommend practical solutions
Local SEO & GBP Optimization:
– Optimize and manage Google Business Profile
– Perform local keyword targeting and location-based optimization
– Manage NAP consistency and local citations
– Assist in creating and publishing GBP posts and updates
– Monitor and respond to reviews and ratings
– Support Local Map Pack visibility improvements
Required Qualifications:
– Basic to intermediate knowledge of:
– Technical SEO
– On-page SEO
– Off-page SEO
– Local SEO fundamentals
– Ability to research, troubleshoot, and find solutions independently
– Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
– Good communication skills
– Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines
Required Tools Knowledge:
– Analytics & Tracking:
– Google Analytics (GA4)
– Google Search Console
– Google Tag Manager
– SEO Tools like Semrush
– CMS & On-Page Optimization:
– WordPress
– Yoast SEO or Rank Math
– Technical & Performance:
– Google PageSpeed Insights
– Screaming Frog SEO Spider
Nice to Have (Preferred):
– Experience with advanced technical SEO (schema markup, Core Web Vitals)
– Understanding of AEO / AI search optimization
– Experience with content tools
– Familiarity with local SEO tools (e.g., citations, listings management)
– Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
