Junior SEO & WordPress Assistant (Full-Time, Remote | Roofing & Solar Company)

We are looking for a Junior SEO & WordPress Assistant to join our team full-time. You will be working directly with a senior SEO, supporting a growing roofing and solar company, and helping improve local visibility, rankings, and lead generation.

This is a hands-on role focused on execution, learning, and long-term growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with on-page SEO (titles, meta descriptions, headings, content updates)

Build and edit pages using WordPress (Elementor or similar builders)

Create and optimize service and location pages for roofing and solar services

Add internal links and improve site structure

Upload and optimize images (file names, alt text, compression)

Support Google Business Profile (GBP) optimization and posting

Conduct basic keyword research and competitor analysis

Follow SOPs and complete assigned SEO and web tasks efficiently

REQUIREMENTS:

At least 1–3 years experience with SEO and/or WordPress

Understanding of on-page SEO and local SEO basics

Experience using WordPress (Elementor or similar page builders)

Familiarity with Google Business Profile (GBP)

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Good written and spoken English

Reliable internet connection

NICE TO HAVE (BUT NOT REQUIRED)

Experience with Google Ads (1–3 years)

Experience working with home service businesses (roofing, solar, construction, etc.)

Familiarity with tools like SEMrush, Google Search Console, or Google Analytics

WORK SETUP:

Full-time remote role

Rate: $3.50/hour

Flexible schedule

Must have some overlap during Philippine daytime hours for communication

Time tracking via TimeDoctor
