Optima Solutions LLC
OVERVIEW
We are seeking a senior SEO leader who can own strategy, direct execution, and improve measurable outcomes across a diverse client portfolio. This role is responsible for turning search, analytics, competitive, and business data into clear roadmaps – then coordinating the people and technical work required to deliver them.
You will lead complex initiatives such as enterprise URL remapping, site migrations, information architecture, multi-location growth, content refreshes, and AI-search visibility. You will also set priorities and quality standards for work completed by SEO researchers, paid media researchers, writers, and technical partners. The role remains hands-on where judgment matters most, including analysis, quality assurance, technical briefs, and focused on-page edits.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Portfolio Strategy and Client Growth
-
Own end-to-end SEO strategy for assigned clients, from discovery and baseline analysis through roadmap, implementation, measurement, and iteration.
-
Develop launch strategies for new clients and refresh underperforming or mature strategies when results plateau, markets shift, or business priorities change.
-
Analyze Google Search Console, GA4, Semrush, Looker Studio, CallRail, Shopify, and other available sources to identify growth opportunities, performance risks, and attribution gaps.
-
Prioritize work by business impact, confidence, effort, dependency, and risk – not rankings alone.
-
Translate research and performance findings into clear quarterly, monthly, and sprint-level plans with accountable owners and success measures. Enterprise Technical SEO and Implementation
-
Lead complex technical SEO projects, including site migrations, URL inventories and remapping, redirect strategy, canonicalization, indexation, taxonomy, internal linking, crawlability, XML sitemaps, robots directives, and duplicate-content controls.
-
Create implementation briefs for developers and web teams that include evidence, business impact, requirements, acceptance criteria, dependencies, QA steps, and launch monitoring.
-
Partner with technical teams to choose practical implementation paths, resolve tradeoffs, and verify that completed work matches the strategic intent.
-
Manage pre-launch and post-launch SEO validation, escalation, and recovery plans for high-risk changes.
-
Maintain enough hands-on technical fluency to inspect source-level issues, CMS behavior, templates, structured data, analytics instrumentation, and crawl outputs.
Research, Content Direction, and AI Search -
Lead keyword, search-intent, audience, competitor, SERP, content-gap, and market research for both existing and prospective clients.
-
Turn research into site architecture, page strategy, content briefs, refresh plans, internal linking systems, and scalable local or enterprise content models.
-
Direct writers and researchers with clear priorities, evidence, page objectives, source expectations, and definitions of done; review work for strategic quality before publication.
-
Complete focused on-page edits when needed, including titles, descriptions, headings, internal links, FAQs, structured answer blocks, and small content improvements. This is not a primary copywriting role.
-
Develop and test practical workflows for AI Overviews, generative search, and LLM visibility while maintaining strong technical SEO and content-quality fundamentals.
Team Leadership and Operating Cadence -
Set weekly priorities and direct work across junior SEO researchers, paid media researchers, writers, and supporting contributors.
-
Assign the right work to the right owner, provide context and acceptance criteria, review outputs, coach for improvement, and intervene when quality or timelines are at risk.
-
Establish repeatable workflows, quality-control checklists, documentation, and decision standards that help the broader SEO and content team work faster and more consistently.
-
Own Semrush workspace governance, including project setup, position tracking, keyword tagging, competitor sets, site-audit configuration, alerts, issue triage, and reporting consistency.
-
Identify capacity constraints, dependencies, and skill gaps early; escalate clearly and recommend a path forward.
Client Communication and Performance Reporting -
Record clear, concise Loom walkthroughs that explain performance, decisions, risks, priorities, and next steps for clients and internal stakeholders.
-
Lead or support client strategy conversations and present complex SEO topics in practical business language.
-
Deliver decision-ready reports that connect visibility and traffic to qualified leads, revenue, conversions, engagement, and other client outcomes.
-
Communicate early when performance changes, data quality is uncertain, or implementation constraints require a strategy adjustment.
Cross-Channel Collaboration and Attribution -
Share organic query, audience, page, and conversion insights with the paid media team to improve targeting, landing pages, and budget decisions.
-
Use paid search learnings to sharpen organic strategy, content prioritization, and conversion- focused page improvements.
-
Review call and form data in CallRail and, when applicable, revenue or product outcomes in Shopify, and flag tracking or attribution issues that could distort decisions.
-
Coordinate with account, web, analytics, content, and paid media teams so strategy and execution stay aligned.
