Centaur Digital Marketing PH Inc., a Public Relations (PR) & Digital Marketing agency is looking for an SEO Manager to join the team.

 

As an SEO Manager, your primary responsibility is to enhance our clients’ organic search performance using proven white-hat strategies while adapting to the evolving landscape of AI-driven search. You will lead the strategy for traditional search engine rankings as well as optimization for Generative Engines and AI Overviews. Your key responsibilities include:

 

  • Strategy & Optimization: Develop and implement cutting-edge SEO strategies for better rankings, keeping traditional algorithms and AI-driven search behaviors in mind.
  • AI & Generative Search Integration: Optimize web content for AI Overviews (AIO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to ensure client visibility in AI-generated search summaries.
  • Keyword & Intent Research: Conduct deep keyword and user-intent research to improve organic search traffic across traditional search engines and AI conversational bots.
  • Technical SEO & Audits: Perform comprehensive website audits and create technical optimization plans (on-page, off-page, and technical SEO).
  • Workflow Automation: Utilize generative AI tools to streamline SEO workflows, content ideation, schema creation, and large-scale data analysis.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with web development agencies to implement SEO fixes and collaborate with global internal teams for cross-border visibility.
  • Content Strategy: Recommend high-impact content strategies that align with both E-E-A-T guidelines and conversational AI query models.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track, analyze, and report website performance using advanced dashboards, specifically isolating traditional organic traffic vs. AI-driven referral traffic.
  • Stakeholder Education: Educate internal teams and clients on the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and AI search developments.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, or a related field, with a proven track record of improving search engine rankings and organic traffic growth.
  • AI Search Experience: Demonstrated experience or deep understanding of optimizing content for Generative Search (GEO/SGE) and AI discovery.
  • Leadership: Proven experience managing a team or leading complex, cross-functional SEO projects.
  • Technical Foundations: Familiarity with web development basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and a strong command of schema markup and structured data.
  • Work Environment: Must be able to operate in a hybrid work setup.

 

SKILLS:

  • Traditional SEO Toolkit: Proficiency in industry-standard tools (Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Moz).
  • AI & Automation Tools: Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, or specialized AI SEO tools) for research, formatting, and analysis.
  • Advanced SEO Knowledge: Mastery of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices, including mobile SEO and Core Web Vitals.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze complex data sets, draw actionable insights, and convey metrics clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Content & Intent Mastery: Strong understanding of content marketing, user search intent, and how search behavior is shifting toward conversational queries.
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and exceptional organizational skills.

INTERVIEW PROCESS:

We require all applicants to take an exam as part of the screening process. No exam submission means no interview. This helps us assess if you’re qualified for the position without wasting your time.

 

Below is the step-by-step process:

  1. Exam Submission:
  2. After receiving your application, an HR representative will email you the exam.
  3. Initial Interview:
  4. Once you pass the exam, we will schedule you for an initial interview within 2-3 working days after exam submission.
  5. Departmental Interview (Second Interview):
  6. If you pass the initial interview, a second interview will be scheduled 1 week after your initial interview. Please take note that it may take up to 2 weeks depending on the availability of the interviewer.
  7. Final Interview:
  8. The last step is the final interview with the CEO | Managing Director, which may take one week or more, depending on their availability.
