About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SEO & Discoverability Specialist to take ownership of an established digital discoverability program. The role focuses on technical SEO, Google Ads, conversion rate optimization (CRO), keyword strategy, and improving visibility across AI-powered search platforms. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and keeps pace with the rapidly evolving search landscape.
Key Responsibilities
�Technical SEO: ongoing site health monitoring, schema markup, Core Web Vitals, crawlability, internal linking, and structured data on a newly launched WordPress site
� Google Ads: campaign management, keyword strategy, negative keyword discipline, bid management, ad copy testing, and conversion tracking
� Keyword research: intent mapping, topic clustering, competitive gap analysis, and informing content strategy across the awareness and consideration stages of the funnel
� Website conversion optimization: establishing baseline performance on the new site, running A/B tests, analyzing behavior via Hotjar, and improving landing page performance to turn traffic into pipeline
� AI and LLM visibility: monitoring how company is described and cited in tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini; tracking competitor visibility in AI-generated results; optimizing for answer engines and generative search (AEO and GEO); staying current on how AI is changing buyer search behavior and what it means for our strategy
� Collaboration with content, design, and web on landing page strategy, on-page optimization, and campaign alignment
� Monthly reporting across all channels: organic rankings, paid performance, conversion rates, and AI visibility, tied to pipeline, not just traffic
� 3 to 5 years of experience in SEO and paid search, ideally in a B2B or SaaS environment
� Proven technical SEO
Experience:
�You have run audits, implemented schema, fixed crawl issues, and improved Core Web Vitals, not just flagged them
� Hands-on Google Ads experience including search campaigns, negative keyword management, ad copy testing, and conversion tracking
� Experience with conversion rate optimization: Hotjar or similar behavior tools, A/B testing, landing page analysis, and form optimization
� Strong keyword research
Skills:
�you think beyond volume and difficulty, and you understand search intent and how queries are evolving
� Working knowledge of WordPress: comfortable making page edits, adjusting templates, and knowing when to loop in a developer
� Familiarity with GA4, Google Search Console, Semrush or Ahrefs, and Google Tag Manager
� Hands-on experience using AI tools in day-to-day marketing work: research, content drafting, workflow automation, reporting, or campaign optimization. We are not looking for awareness. We are looking for active use.
� Genuine curiosity about where search is headed and a demonstrated habit of keeping up with it: following industry voices, testing new tools, adjusting approach as the landscape shifts
� Analytical mindset: you connect channel performance to business outcomes and report in a way non-marketers can act on
� Comfortable taking ownership of an existing program: able to assess what is working, identify gaps, and drive results without needing to have built it yourself Preferred Qualifications
� Experience in multifamily, PropTech, or property management SaaS
� Working knowledge of generative engine optimization (GEO) or answer engine optimization (AEO): you understand how large language models surface and cite content, and you are actively paying attention to how this is evolving
� Familiarity with entity-based content and structured data as it relates to AI citation
� Familiarity with Elementor
� Basic HTML and CSS knowledge
